In a mortar pestle, add saffron strands and powder it.
Add it to warm oil base. If making oil for skin, we highly recommend using sweet almond oil.
Secure the jar with a lid and keep the oil in warm place, preferable near to the window where it would get ample sunlight throughout the day for over 2-3 weeks.
You can strain the oil if you want or use it directly. To make a stronger oil, repeat the process as many times as you like using the infused oil and fresh saffron powder.
