RICE FLOUR TO BRIGHTEN SKIN

Rice flour is a well-known skin brightening ingredient and below is how you could make a face mask using rice flour and yogurt:

Rice flour- Rice flour exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells. This reveals new skin that glows from within. Rice flour contains great amounts of para aminobenzoic acid, ferulic acid and allantoin. Para aminobenzoic acid serves as a good sunscreen and also brightens up your skin.

Yogurt- Yogurt has sebum-balancing properties that gradually make your skin less-oily. Skin that is less oily looks glowing and radiant.

Turmeric- Turmeric has skin brightening, anti-tan and anti-pigmentation benefits. Also has healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Things you need-

  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • Yogurt (as required to make a spreadable paste)
  • 1/4 Tsp of Organic Turmeric

Method- In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of rice flour followed by yogurt and 1/4 tsp of turmeric. Mix and add more yogurt if required to achieve a spreadable paste. Apply the mask evenly to cleansed face and let it work for good 30 minutes. To rinse off, spray some water or rose water on your face and massage. Rinse off with plain water and pat dry. Moisturize if required.
