Oats are one of the easiest and quickest breakfasts to make and are healthy too! Even easy is making overnight oats! You just add the ingredients in a mason jar or any jar, pop it in the fridge and let all the ingredients soak each other’s flavors; and then all you do it mix it together in the morning and consume. You might wonder that the oats are uncooked and would taste weird, but they taste just as great as any other cooked oatmeal porridge! Without much ado, let’s get on with the recipe-
Things you need-
- ½ cup organic rolled oats
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (or more if you like)
- Small banana sliced or diced
- Honey (or any other sweetener of your choice)
In a jar, add in greek yogurt and oats. Mix and add in banana.
Now, add in chia seeds. Make sure you don’t just add a spoonful in one place, sprinkle it evenly.
Add in honey and you are done.
HONEYYou can either put a lid without mixing and refrigerate it only to mix it in the morning or you can mix it beforehand too. Mixing before refrigeration works the best.
Note: You can also add in a bit of almond milk or any other milk you like. Also, adding in peanut butter can enhance the flavor and make your oats super delicious!
