COFFEE OIL RECIPE – HEAT INFUSION METHOD

For this method, grind your roasted coffee beans medium to coarse. Pour 4 tablespoons of ground coffee beans and 4 tablespoons of pure olive oil, sesame oil or any other oil of your choice in a small crockpot. Cook on a low-medium heat on a double boiler for 3-4 hours. Use the wooden spoon to stir the mixture occasionally. Strain the oil using cheesecloth and store it in a glass jar. Use it directly or mix it with your facial oil or hair oil before using it.

COFFEE OIL RECIPE – COLD INFUSION METHOD

Method: In a jar, combine all 1 cup olive oil or coconut oil or any other oil along with 3/4 cup of ground coffee. Put the lid on and shake well. Store for 3 weeks or up to a month, shaking every day or two. But be sure to shake it daily or on every alternate day. At the end of 3 weeks, strain through a cheesecloth or coffee filter.

This oil can be used as a light and moisturizing face or body oil, a nourishing hair treatment to add shine or delightful massage oil to treat stretch marks and cellulite. Use it as an eye oil to lighten dark circles, brighten and firm the under-eye area. According to your preference, it can be refrigerated or warmed before use.
