Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and plenty of tannins that help in treating the eye area. They also contain anti-inflammatory properties that treat the dark circles and help reduce eye bags. The antioxidants and tannins help to lighten the dark circles and also reduces the puffiness and tighten the skin around the eyes.
Make a cup of green tea by placing organic tea bags in hot water along with 1/4 tsp of organic turmeric and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Let the tea cool, then transfer to the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, soak cotton pads with the cold tea and use the cotton pads under the eyes for 5 minutes. Repeat daily or as needed. You can also use cold tea bags and gently press them under and around the eyes. This helps to cut back on both darkness and puffiness.
