Homemade moisturizers often have a tiresome process because it involves cooling down the oil mixture and whipping to get that desirable whipped texture.Well, we are here with a moisturizer recipe that involves no cooling and whipping! Also, this one is great for all skin types and can also keep acne and oiliness at bay!
Aloe vera gel- Aloe vera gel makes the product a great one for soothing sunburn, skin inflammation, heal acne, unclog pores and keep skin hydrated and plump.
Argan oil – has skin brightening effects that adds a healthy brightened glow.
Turmeric oil- Turmeric oil heals and prevents acne, unclogs pores, purifies skin and also helps reduce skin infections.
Lavender oil- Lavender oil adds good fragrance too the product and also has great skin benefits.
Things you need-
- 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon argan oil or rosehip oil or jojoba oil
- 3 drops lavender essential oil
- 3 drops turmeric essential oil – how to make turmeric oil
Directions- In a bowl, add cosmetic aloe vera gel. Commercially available cosmetic aloe vera gel contains polymer that helps emulsify gel and oils. This won’t happen if you use fresh aloe vera gel.Add in sweet almond oil and start mixing. The mixture should get fluffy and turbid as you mix, just what you want.Add in essential oils and mix again.Store the cream in a cool and dry place and use within 3 weeks.
