Winters are finally here and nothing beats having a hot steaming cup of chai in the colder months! Chai is loved by many and is one of the easiest beverage to make. Thinking of making a hot cup of chai? Below is an easy recipe for a winter chai with spicy bite:

WINTER CHAI TEA RECIPE

Things you need:

  • Cinnamon sticks/powder
  • Fennel seeds/powder
  • Cardamom pods/powder
  • Crushed ginger/ginger powder
  • Nutmeg powder
  • Whole black pepper/black pepper powder
  • Black tea leaves- 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar- 2 teaspoons
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup milk

WINTER CHAI TEA RECIPE

Directions:

Add water in a vessel and add in all the spices, either whole or powdered. More: DIY chai tea spice mix >>

Add in black tea leaves and sugar. Let it simmer for few minutes and turn off the flame.

Strain and add in hot milk.

Consume warm!
