Deodorants are essential to keep your armpits fresh and smelling good. However, commercial deodorants are alcohol based and can further dry out your sensitive armpits and cause irritation and darkening. Here is a recipe for Roll-On Deodorant and Spray Deodorant you could try. If you love using talcum powders or dry deodorant/sticks, below is how you could make Natural Deodorant Powder-
Baking soda- Keeps skin dry and fresh, absorbs moisture and has anti-microbial effects. Also lightens your armpits gradually.
Arrowroot powder- Absorbs excess moisture, keeps skin soft, smooth and fresh.
Orange essential oil- Has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. Keeps your armpits fresh smelling throughout the day.
RECIPE FOR NATURAL DEODORANT POWDER:
Things you need-
- 1/2 cup arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 15 drops orange essential oil
In a bowl, add arrowroot powder and baking soda.
Add in orange essential oil or any other oil you like and mix.
Store the deodorant powder in a sprinkler bottle and dust it on your armpits as and when required.
