There are tons of under eye creams and masks available commercially that claim to lighten or diminish dark circles but they seldom work. Matcha powder- Rich in anti-oxidants that help nourish under eyes and lighten dark circles. also is rich in tannins that helps reduce puffiness.
Turmeric- Has skin lightening and brightening properties.
Things you need-
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- A pinch of turmeric
- Enough water
In a bowl, add matcha powder and turmeric powder.
Add in enough water to make a watery solution.
Take a circular cotton pad and cut it in half. Soak it completely in the matcha-turmeric solution and place it under your eyes for about 30 minutes.
Remove the pads and tap the excess liquid. Do not wash off.
This is best done before bedtime 5-6 times a week for best results.
