Honey- Honey is a natural immune booster, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent that helps inhibit bacteria and soothe inflamed throat and nasal passages.
Lemon- Lemon just like honey is a natural immune booster.
Ginger- Ginger has great anti-inflammatory properties that helps soothe inflamed throat. It helps ward off cold and flu in no time.
RECIPE FOR HONEY GINGER JAR:
Things you need-
- Wide mouthed jar with lid
- 1 cup honey
- 2 lemons sliced
- 1 inch fresh ginger sliced
In a jar, put lemon slices and ginger slices at the bottom.
Pour in honey and repeat the layers until the entire jar is filled.
Close the lid and store the jar in fridge for 2 months.
Place the jar at room temperature for 15 minutes prior usage. Simply eat a spoonful of this syrup if you have cold, sore throat or runny rose. You can also add it in warm water and consume.
