Dry skin that lacks elasticity and moisture is prone to stretch marks and it is important to use a heavy-duty moisturizer to prevent and heal stretch marks. Below is a homemade recipe for stretch mark cream which is super effective:
Shea butter- Shea butter has excellent skin moisturizing and healing properties. It improves skin elasticity and prevents further skin damage.
Cocoa butter- Cocoa butter works just as shea butter and also adds a nice aroma to the final product.
Coconut oil- Coconut oil has good skin moisturizing properties. It improves skin elasticity and prevents and heals stretch marks.
Lavender oil- Lavender oil has skin healing properties. It also adds a nice aroma to the final product.
RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE STRETCH MARK CREAM:
Things you need-
- 2 tablespoon organic pure shea butter
- 2 tablespoon organic pure cocoa butter
- 2 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
In a bowl, add melted shea butter and cocoa butter. Add in coconut oil and lavender oil and give it a quick mix.
Refrigerate the mixture until slid and whip until fluffy. Store the cream in an air-tight container and use it on your problem areas after bathing.
