DIY SLEEP SALVE

Coconut oil and olive oil- Moisturizes skin, helps penetration of the oils used in recipe.

Beeswax- Works to slightly thicken the mixture for better texture.

Lavender oil, cedar wood oil and orange oil- Calms the senses, relaxes mind and puts you to undisturbed sleep.

Things you need-

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons beeswax
  • 5 drops each of lavender oil, cedar wood oil and orange oil

Directions-

In a microwaveable oil or saucepan (for double boiling) add coconut oil and olive oil.

Add in beeswax and warm the mixture to melt.you can also add in per-melted beeswax and skip microwaving or double boiling.

Stir and add in lavender oil, cedar wood oil and orange oil. Stir thoroughly and pour the oil in a jar.

Let it cool down and get a bit thick. Your sleep balm is ready! Secure the jar with tight lid and store in a cool and dry place.

Apply the oil on your body and feet and wear socks before bedtime¬†for a relaxing (and moisturizing) night’s sleep.
