Aloe gel is a great skin hydrator by itself but directly applying fresh aloe gel can cause allergic reactions in some and can also clog pores if used as a leave-on treatment. Also, if you are looking out for an all natural aloe cream for face and body instead of applying just aloe gel that has no shelf-life, below is a recipe you can try-
Aloe gel- Hydrates and soothes the skin. Has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Argan oil- Nourishes, moisturizes and soothes skin.
Jojoba oil- Has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Things you need-
- 1/3 cup aloe gel (commercial and organic)
- 2 teaspoons argan oil
- 2 teaspoons jojoba oil
In a bowl, add aloe vera gel. Fresh aloe gel won’t work in this recipe, you need store bought only.Add in agran oil and jojoba oil and mix until the gel gets turbid and creamy.
Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and your aloe face and body cream is ready!
If you have acne on face and body, you can add in few drops tea tree oil before mixing all the ingredients. READ MORE – ESSENTIAL OIL HAIR GROWTH TONIC
