Homemade moisturizers often have a tiresome process because it involves cooling down the oil mixture and whipping to get that desirable whipped texture. Well, we are here with a moisturizer recipe that involves no cooling and whipping! Also, this one is great for all skin types and can also keep acne and oiliness at bay!
Aloe vera gel- Aloe vera gel makes the product a great one for soothing sunburn, skin inflammation, heal acne, unclog pores and keep skin hydrated and plump.
Jojoba oil – has skin brightening effects that add a healthy brightened glow.
Tea tree oil- Taa tree oil heals and prevents acne, unclogs pores, purifies skin and also helps reduce skin infections.
Rose oil- Rose oil adds good fragrance too the product and also has great skin benefits.
Directions- In a bowl, add pure aloe vera gel. Commercially available cosmetic aloe vera gel contains a polymer that helps emulsify gel and oils. Add in jojoba oil and start mixing. The mixture should get fluffy and turbid as you mix, just what you want. Add in essential oils and mix again. Store the cream in a cool and dry place and use within 3-4 weeks.
Always patch test before use. If you are pregnant, always consult your doctor before incorporating any essential oils in your health/skin care/hair care routine. Never use essential oils directly on your skin, make sure they are always diluted with a carrier oil. Always use organic ingredients to avoid clogging pores and other skin issues.
