Long hair is prone to tangling and hair fall due to breakage and damage while combing or washing. Also, if you have rough hair, your hair can tangle a lot irrespective of hair length. This is when hair detanglers come into play! There are some brands that offer de-tangling serums and hair mists but why spend when you can make one yourself? Below is a simple recipe for all-natural hair detangler:
RECIPE FOR HAIR DETANGLER:
Things you need-
- 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
- 1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin
- ½ cup filtered water
The glycerine and aloe vera works well in softening hair and coating it, this reduces tangling and breakage. Also, these 2 ingredients are humectants that keep hair moisturized.
In a bowl, mix together glycerine and aloe vera gel. Add in water and stir until everything is well combined.
Pour the solution in a spray bottle and store in cool and dry place for over 2 weeks. To use, spray on damp hair/towel-dried hair after hair washing and comb through.
To use on dry hair, simply spray on the comb before using it.
